Setup & Strategy

We started by adjusting the tracking on the page. We needed to make sure the value she was selling matched the value in Google Ads. In addition, we set up dynamic values in Google Tag Manager, which ensured that she collected all relevant information about the users who visited her site.

We created a new Google shopping feed for her, so her products had all the relevant attributes, which is important for good performance on Google Ads. We also adjusted her titles in the feed to make them stand out as much as possible.

We've set up some search campaigns for her that bid on his brand name, but also on other relevant search terms. We have continuously adjusted the search campaigns so that we only advertised for those products that provide a good ROAS.

We started by running smart shopping for her, which worked really well. We continually adjusted campaigns to remove products that weren't converting. But after it was announced that smart shopping would be replaced by Performance Max, we started setting up these campaigns for her. We now continuously adjust and create asset groups for the product types that sell well for her.

Ongoing Optimizations

We have continuously removed irrelevant search terms from her search campaigns so that her ads only appear on relevant searches. In addition, we have found new relevant searches that we have bid on and which have also brought her sales.

In relation to Smart Shopping, we have advertised all her products as a starting point, but we have continuously excluded those products and categories that have not given her a good ROAS. In relation to Performance Max, we have continuously built asset groups for those of her products and product groups that provide a good ROAS.

My webshops have had a tumultuous existence with Google Ads help from various agencies, but after I transferred the task to The Online Gurus, everything runs like clockwork. Sales are booming and I’m busy serving customers, packing and doing the books. Then it’s fun to have webshops.

Newly, they’re also taking over my marketing on SoMe, and I’m excited to see the results. Every month I get reports about the results of each webshop, and they are easy to read, so it’s easy to keep up, even if you don’t have your fingers in the pulse.
